Today is the last day for Arizona voters to register to vote to be able to cast a ballot in the upcoming November election.

Eligible voters in the state can check their voter registration status with the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office and can register to vote online through the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division. Voters can also register in-person or via mail if the letter is postmarked to Oct. 7.

Early ballots will begin to be sent to voters on Oct. 9 and voters will have until Oct. 25 to request a mail-in ballot and will have until Oct. 29 to mail their ballot.

For voters in Maricopa County, information on where to vote in person on Nov. 5 can be found at Locations.Maricopa.Vote, which shows all polling locations and drop boxes for early ballots.

Those in other counties in the state can find similar information on the Secretary of State’s Office website at my.Arizona.vote

The two major parties are pushing to ensure eligible voters register in the state with the Democratic Party holding youth voter registration events at college campuses across the state. Republicans are pushing the message to get registered on social media as well as registered voters at events across the state.
