Elsa Kegelman has joined Spotlight Delaware newsroom in the new position of events and marketing manager, as the one-year-old newsroom prepares to expand its events footprint in 2025.
“I’m delighted to welcome Elsa to the Spotlight team,” said Matt Sullivan. “I’ve known her for years as a dedicated and passionate supporter of the Delaware theater community, and I know she’s going to bring those same talents to this much-needed role.”
Kegelman has worked with New Light Theater as marketing director since the company’s formation in 2018, helping to power that organization’s explosive growth in the region with sophisticated and engaging messaging across multiple social media channels. She holds a BFA in drama from New York University.
Kegelman’s position will help Spotlight build on the success of the inaugural 2025 Spotlight Delaware Legislative Summit, which hosted more than 250 people for a full-day summit in January. New events will be announced in the next few weeks.
