The Alabama State Department of Education will hold public presentations around the state for the 2023 Alabama Course of Study on Science.

There will be presentations and questions and answers. Participants can write questions and comments on cards, and moderators will answer the questions.

“The goal of the presentations is to engage the general public, parents, educators, business and industry, and civic leaders in a general review of science content and standards, and to increase awareness,” the Alabama State Department of Education said in a press release on Wednesday.

The three sessions, each taking place between 6 and 7 p.m.,  will be held at:

JSU Regional Inservice Center (100 Gamecock Drive, Room 1230, Anniston, AL 36205) on Sept. 23 2024.
Athens State University- Sandridge Student Center Ballroom (300 North Beaty Street, Athens, AL, 35611) on Sept. 26 2024
Auburn University Ralph Draughon Library, 3rd floor, Room 3133 (231 Mell Street, Auburn, AL, 36849) on Oct. 1 2024.
