The Idaho Department of Labor is hosting a job fair next week for individuals interested working in health care, finance, retail, construction and other industries.
When: 2-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8
Where: State of Idaho Chinden Campus, 11351 W. Chinden Blvd.
The event will include 20 employers looking to hire, including the Ada County Highway District, Bogus Basin, Boise State University, Dabella, Federal Express, Idaho Bankers Association, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Norco, Idaho Youth Ranch, West Ada School District, Key Bank and more.
Available positions include administrators, analysts, call center agents, engineering technicians, cooks, research technicians, cabinet makers, bookkeepers, sales representatives and more, according to a news release from the department.
“Attending this event gives job seekers the chance to connect with diverse employers, explore career options and gain insight into what skills companies are seeking,” workforce consultant Joe Goitiandia said in a press release from the department. “It’s an opportunity to discover new paths and make valuable connections in today’s competitive job market.”
