A Marshall County court on Tuesday dismissed charges against Alabama Department of Transportation Director John Cooper.
The Tuesday order of dismissal says that the case was dismissed by agreement.
Cooper had been arrested on harassment charges in June 2023, stemming from what Cooper’s attorney, George Barnett, said at the time was a land dispute with a neighbor. Barnett said Wednesday he could not comment, citing a confidentiality agreement.
