President Donald Trump on Wednesday traveled to Harrisburg, PA to promote tax reform, his top legislative priority.
Prior to discussing the tax reform effort President Trump discussed recent tragedies including Las Vegas, the wildfires in California, and the recent devastation caused by hurricanes.
“Together we will restore, rebuild, and return stronger than ever before.” – President Donald Trump
President Trump touted a special focus on roadways and highways, lower unemployment figures, rising wages, and a rise in the stock market before discussing taxes.
Part of the proposed reforms would focus on cutting taxes for “everyday, hardworking Americans” by making the first $12,000 for a single individual or the first $24,000 for a married family non-taxable, expands the 0% bracket removes the 10% bracket and expands the 15% bracket.
These reforms, according to President Trump, would “likely give the typical American household a $4,000 pay raise.”
We want lower taxes, bigger paychecks, and more jobs for American truckers and American workers.
