Evacuations continue as flames continue to spread throughout California.

At last update at least 24 lives have been lost, hundreds more are missing, and over 20,000  have been forced to evacuate their homes.

Fires that started Sunday continue to spread though out the state, with wind gusts reaching 70mph, spreading embers and reigniting and igniting blazes.

Fires have knocked out power to nearly 50,000 utility customers, and damaged cell phone towers, leaving thousands without reliable communication and power.

Over 20 separate fires are currently burning in California, with the Tubbs fire now claiming at least 14 lives and nearly 35,000 acres. The Atlas fire has destroyed nearly 45,000 acres itself.
